Dr. Judith Lederhandler

Dr. Judith Lederhandler was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Northwestern University for her undergraduate education, majoring in Biology, and then received her MD degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. She then completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

Dr. Lederhandler then moved to Miami to be a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at The University of Miami, teaching general and developmental pediatrics to residents and medical students. She also served as Director of the Child Protection Team for Dade and Monroe counties for 2 years. Dr. Lederhandler’s passion for infant and child development led her to private practice with Pediatric Professional Associates where she has enjoyed her career ever since. Dr. Lederhandler is Board Certified and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Activities outside the office have included serving for 4 years on the Temple Beth Am Day School Board to advise and participate in this wonderful educational institution.

When not working, Dr. Lederhandler loves spending time with her family.  She also loves music, gardening, and socializing with good friends.
